Does this feature work outside of the US?

This feature is intended for US use only. Please be aware of the emergency numbers of the country you're driving in to get help if you need it when traveling.

Does the feature require data (does it impact my cellular data plan)?

Yes, this feature does require data usage. If you do not have available data on a cellular plan, or access to WiFi, Accident Assistance will not be able to detect an accident.

Does the still work if I don't have cellphone service or WiFi?

Accident Assistance will not be able to detect an accident if there is no cellular service or WiFi signal. Remember, you can always call 911 if you experience an accident even if you have limited cellphone service, subject to data service limitations.

Frequently asked questions about Accident Assistance

Accident Assistance coverage requires an active policy, a data plan, and adequate cell connection. It will not begin until the effective policy date, regardless of activation date and it lasts the duration of your policy for as long as you're enrolled and actively participating. Only available in the U.S.
